“I’ve got a snake in my house! I’ve got it barricaded in the bathroom and need somebody to come out and catch it. I’m not sure whether it poisonous or not…”
This is an example of the calls we get daily.
Snakes are very beneficial animals because they eat rats and other small rodents. Unfortunately, they sometimes find their way into people’s homes, garages, and sheds. Most people are unable to tell the difference between venomous and non-venomous snakes, and end up seriously injuring or killing the snake while trying to remove the snake.
Snake Removal – Tongs & Traps
If you’ve got a snake in or around your home, call our snake removal experts. We can remove the snake from your home safely and humanely. If the snake is accessible, we remove the snake with specialized snake tongs that allow us to firmly grasp the snake, without causing bodily harm. If we are unable to reach the snake, we can set specialized snake traps which catch the snake, but allow it to be removed offsite with harming the snake.
Snake Removal – Snake Repellants
Many companies will try to sell you on snake repellant products as an effective snake removal option. These snake repellant products just don’t work. To learn more about why these products don’t work, view our “Why Snake Repellants Don’t Work” article.
Snake Removal – Exclusion Barriers
We can also inspect your home to see if the snake came through any openings in the exterior. These openings, if present, can also allow rodents such as mice, rats, and squirrels to enter your home. We have had customers ask if a barrier can be constructed around their properties perimeter to permanently keep snakes out. While building an exclusion barrier like this is possible, the cost would be too great, making it extremely impractical.
